Jogging Stroller
$390
This dual stroller is perfect for multiples or growing families. It’s designed to move smoothly, whatever the terrain you’re on – just pushing down on the handlebar lifts the front wheel, making turns on the move a breeze.
Our tester said: “I found plenty of handy storage spaces for my items, such as keys and water. The stroller is roomy, yet narrow enough to fit through most doorways. My 8-month-old daughter seemed to like the ride as well; she napped the entire time!”

Dreamer Design Strengthens Its Good-Better-Best Presentation and Thanks Dealers For Their Support
As part of its three-year plan, 2006 was meant to be one of significant new product introductions for Dreamer Design, and the company refuses to let anything stand in its way. The strength of Dreamer Design has been most evident over the pat six months, as the company continues to recover from a devastating fire that destroyed its main operational facility and samples of the products set to debut this year.
“I initially thought we had recovered well, but we were forced to launch our new product line later than we expected,” says Dreamer Design president Teri Durrin. “We’re rolling our nicely now, though, and interest in the new items has been very strong. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our dealers for their overwhelming support.”
Dreamer Design initiated the good-better-best, tiered pricing structure last year, and this year has expanded the program considerably. “Before this, Dreamer Design only represented high-end jogging strollers; we now feature two more affordable pricing options in an effort to fill a niche for more consumers,” Durrin explains. And each of the price points includes the Dreamer Design warranty program, special product features and the company’s exceptional level of customer service.
One of the highest for this year is the Manhattan series, which features an innovative, front swivel wheel design. “We consider it more of a lifestyle stroller than a jogger,” Durrin explains. “You still get a really nice power walk out of it, but the Manhattan is designed more along the lines of a traditional stroller that’s easy to maneuver.” The Manhattan now comes in a single and double version in all three price categories.
“The Manhattan Category Three adds an air of sophistication, featuring plush, supple fabric that hugs a baby’s skin,” Durrin says. Two high-fashion color options are available: Uptown Red, and deep, elegant, more traditional tone trimmed with tan pin striping; and Envy Green, a brighter, vibrant color with the same classy tan trim. “We showed dealers a rendering of this at last year’s ABC Show and they were really excited about it,” Durrin reports.
In its Jogger series, Dreamer Design is now featuring a dramatic blue-on-blue color scheme done on versatile, rip stop fabric. “The rip stop has a metallic sheen, but it’s lightweight and very durable,” Durrin explains. “This cuts down on the weight of the stroller, but maintains the high quality that Dreamer Design is known for.”
As Durrin observes, the category of jogging strollers has seen a marked increase in the number of players over the past few years. “Again, it’s great to see the continued education and safety, and making sure we represent advantageous programs for our valued partners. This will continue to be our goal.”
